Welcome - please meet our team!
Kirk Hamilton

Cert.IV Frontline Management

Consultant & Trainer

Having spent decades as a shift-worker in hospitality and security, I was ready for a long-overdue change (and regular routine!) and moved into the warehousing industry.  For almost two decades I have worked for a variety of well-known multi-million dollar companies, predominantly responsible for receiving, supervisory, and management roles.

With qualifications in Frontline Management, I am passionate about functional, efficient, and safe workplaces with effective procedures in place - not to mention having a proactive and motivated team to work with.

As well as my role with Hamilton Training & Development Consultants, I am an active Director with Nadine's charity Love Your Pet Love Your Vet, and our company Positive Psych Solutions Pty Ltd.

I'm looking forward to bringing my wealth of knowledge and experience to your workplace to help you have a mentally healthy - and thriving - workplace.

Psychologist & Trainer

After failing every single one of my exams at high school (yes, can you believe it - I was too busy talking to pay attention!), I decided to join the workforce at the age of 15.  I vividly remember going to work one day and driving past one of the universities, thinking I will never be able to go to university because I flunked high school.  How wrong I was!

Since then I successfully completed qualifications in psychology, training, interior design, feng shui, and of course my doctoral research into veterinarian wellbeing in 2016.  I am the very proud founder of Love Your Pet Love Your Vet, in which I partnered with Royal Canin to raise awareness about the issues within the veterinary industry.  (You can find out more about my charity by visiting the Love Your Pet Love Your Vet website.)  I authored the best-selling book "Coping with Stress and Burnout as a Veterinarian" and my research and work within the veterinary profession for the past decade was instrumental in leading the start of a paradigm shift occurring within this industry.  I was honoured to receive a personal invitation to attend the government's invitation-only suicide prevention taskforce summit at the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet in November 2019, as well as an invitation to present as a distinguished speaker at the NAVC's VMX conference in Florida, USA in January 2020.  And to top it off I was also the winner of the Blackmores Mercie Whellan Women+Wellbeing Award 2020!

My fourth-year psychology thesis researched conflict in the workplace, which is an area I am passionate about.  I absolutely love organisational psychology and training, and helping people and workplaces become the best they can be.
